Indoor Rowing

What is it?

It is a complete exercise for all ages.

It is particularly beneficial as part of cross training, for lowering blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes and for helping to prevent obesity.

Gym Mostyn only uses and recommends Concept 2 indoor rowing machines.

What are the benefits?

  • It is weight bearing, so good for rehabilitation and for those who might find running difficult.

What is Crew Class?

At Gym Mostyn this is rowing with a group, each person working at his or her individual level, motivated by the music and the instructor. It is being part of a team!

Long, slow, steady rows provide an excellent launch pad for exercise as part of a weight-loss plan.
